THE 2009 SUPREME VENTURES 2-Y-O SERIES RACEDAY was launched at the Knutsford Court Hotel on Thursday, October 8, 2009. The first of which will be the Cash Pot Race Day scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2009.

Mr. Paul Hoo (CEO, Supreme Ventures Limited) spoke on behalf of the sponsor, while Mr. Denzil Miller Jr. (Racing Secretary), offered the racing details and Mr. Howard McKenzie (Director, CTL) gave the promoter's remarks.

The 5th annual Supreme Ventures 2-Y-O Series is set to start on Saturday, October 17, 2009.  This unique sponsorship was launched in 2005, and is a result of The Merger of Supreme Ventures Limited, TOBA and CTL. Supreme Ventures will inject $5.55 million to purses over three (3) race days. The three (3) race series immediately became the most exciting 2-Y-O races on the calendar and has attracted an average of 10 starters per race and has continued to add new horses to millionaires row; RAMPAGE and SUPER NATURAL in 2005, RUM TALK, MUCHO GUSTO and STRONG HOPE in 2006, THE REAL STREAM and JOSIE WALES in 2007, MISS RUTH and BRUCEONTHELOOSE in 2008.

This series is the first of its kind in Jamaica, the English Speaking Caribbean and possibly, the world and will take the form of three (3) Graded Two-Year-Old races. The races will benefit from an increase in the total purse package of $7.5M (2006), $8.25M (2007), $9.0M (2008) to $10.8M (2009) and a bonus of $1M to the lucky Owner of the 2-y-o that is capable of winning all three races.
