SEEKING MY DREAM

VOTED

HORSE-OF-THE-YEAR 2015

 

After the votes were tallied, Mr. Derrick C. Smith's handsome 3-Y-O chestnut colt SEEKING MY DREAM (Seeking the Glory- Alsafra) who won the Cal's Jamaica Derby (GR.I) and the inaugural running of the Supreme Ventures Limited's Diamond Mile (GR.I) was voted Horse-of-the-Year 2015.

 

PERFECT NEIGHBOUR and POKER STAR were also voted first and second runner up respectively, to the Horse-of-the-Year.

 

SEEKING MY DREAM while sporting the green and black silks for his Owner won five (5) races from 10 starts and earned $14,227,800 during the 2015 racing season. He was also voted Champion 3-y-o, Champion Middle Distance Performer and Champion Local Bred overall.

 

Messrs. Alfred Lee and Jefferey Mordecai, Owners of PERFECT NEIGHBOUR first runner up to the Horse-of-the-Year was voted Champion 4-Y-O and Champion Stayer, while the Alexander Haber owned 2nd runner up to the Horse-of-the-Year POKER STAR was voted Champion Sprinter.

 

The 2-Y-O Bay Colt FUTURE KING was voted Champion 2-Y-O overall for his Owners Messrs. Alfred Lee and Jefferey Mordecai.

 

The Champion Imported honours went to UPPA TUNE for Owners PJK Team.

 

The Most Improved Trainer was HARRY PARSARD while Jockey ROBERT HALLEDEEN was voted Most Improved Rider.

 

Sixteen (16) of the 17 Committee members submitted votes.
