CTL OPERATIONS

The Company has sole responsibility for the promotion of horseracing, and the running of pari-mutuel pools thereon (both track and off-track).

CTL promotes approximately 900 'On Track' races per annum. At least 13 major Jamaican companies sponsor 34 of these races.

SIMULCAST SYSTEM

CTL also offers through its Simulcast system approximately 10,500 overseas races per annum.

The Off Track Betting Parlours operate based on a Franchise Agreement from CTL they are opened six days a week except for Sundays, and offer race-by-race wagering on local racing every Saturday and most Wednesday and Public Holidays, as well as Simulcast races 'live' from racetracks in the United States, Australia and Britain. The OTB Franchise Agreement is for two years and is subject to renewal on the discretion of CTL.

There are currently 64 OTB Parlours across the island and CTL plans to establish many more.

CAYMANAS TRACK LIMITED falls under the Ministry of Finance.

Caymanas Track Ltd. is regulated by the BETTING, GAMING AND LOTTERIES COMMISSION and the JAMAICA RACING COMMISSION.

PROPERTY

Caymanas Park rests on a property of 196 acres. The land and buildings are owned by CTL.

OUR STRENGTHS

CTL offers excellent exposure for the advertising dollar - utilizing a mix of television, press and radio. CTL's image in the highly populated Portmore area in which it is located is a very good one; 96% of the persons employed at the track live in Portmore.

The Company is very involved in the Community Development and expresses this through the adoption of the Gregory Park All Age School, providing Scholarships to several students and plays an integral role in the Portmore Community College Work Experience Programme. The Company was recently awarded the Attraction of the Year by the Jamaica Hoteliers and Tourist Association (JHTA) and is making strong advances in the tourism market.

CTL reaches out to the needs of customers by providing easy access for betting at any of the 64 Parlours island wide.

CAYMANAS KIDDIES STABLE

The Kiddies Stable is a fun place to be, children age 4-10 play games, ride pony, get their faces painted by a clown, jump in the bounce-a-bout, go from swing to slides and them relax in the mini library and read or play card games. The Kiddies Stable is managed by staff members and uses a resource bank of caregivers depending on the number of children. They are fed and cared for from 1:00pm until 5:00pm on sponsored race days. A contribution of $150.00JA is asked for upon entry.
