The Rules Governing The Caymanas Track Limited Claiming Championship Series
(a) Any horse which is the subject of a transfer of ownership or stable after the running of the first race in this series of race other than by way of a valid claim, will cease to be eligible for any additional points towards the bonus prize for any of its new owners, trainers or groom.
However, the horse will be eligible for the purse moneys assigned to each subsequent race.
(b) The identity of the groom of any entrant in this series of races shall be declared by the trainer at the nomination stage of each race. The promoter reserves the right to disqualify from bonus points any trainer or groom of any horses previously groomed in the series by someone else if the promoter is not satisfied with the reason given by the trainer for any change of groom.

A Trophy valued at $8,000 donated by CAYMANAS TRACK LIMITED, in honour of GEORGE HoSANG, Champion Jockey 1972-1975 in Jamaica and Champion Jockey of Canada 1979 and 1981. Mr. GEORGE HoSANG is also and inductee into the Hall-of-Fame of Thoroughbred Racing in Jamaica and a recipent of the NONE-SUCH AWARD (2001). The Trophy will be presented to the owner of the winner, who will receive outright a trophy valued $3,500 also donated by Caymanas Track Limited.
