Race# 9 - Major Mayer ridden by Richard Mitchell crosses the winning post ahead of of the field to win the Viceroy Trophy  over 1800metres. Winners of the 9th Race pose in the winner's circle alongside the winning connection.

 

Dr. N. G. Haddad - a close friend of former owner and ardent Turfite -Mr. Al Holness, presents The Viceroy Trophy to Mr. Roland Brown owner of the winning horse Major Mayer.  Also in the photo are members of the winning connection.
